Etienne Nodet est dominicain. Depuis 1977, il enseigne la littérature intertestamentaire à l’Ecole Biblique de Jérusalem. Ancien élève de l’Ecole Polytechnique , il est titulaire d’une maîtrise de philosophie et d’une autre de théologie. C’est un spécialiste de Flavius Josèphe et de ses Antiquités juives. Il est l’auteur de nombreux ouvrages et d’études se rapportant à l’histoire du christianisme et du judaïsme entre le 2ème siècle avant J-C et le 2ème siècle.
